✅ What We Loved
Inside, the toilet is spacious, tidy, and offers a full turning circle for even larger wheelchairs. The contrast of a darker toilet against a light wall helps with visibility for those with sight impairment. There is a fixed wall table which could be particularly useful for colostomy bag users, or those that need a solid surface to place personal belongings whilst they use the facilities.

🛠️ What Was Done Well
The smell in the room was neutral and the space was kept extremely clean, there are 2 hooks at differing heights on the back of the door, along with a horizontal rail, which would be useful to a number of users.
The baby changing was not in the same room, there is a large ‘family room’ in this store which is ideal for both mums and dads to change their young children.
🤔 What Could Be Better
The biggest drawbacks were the red cord not reaching the floor and poor toilet roll provision (no dedicated holder, with rolls placed loosely on a table). The lighting is also quite bright, so those sensitive to light might find it a bit glaring. A difficult one to resolve, but the way the door opens into the path of the men’s toilets is a little awkward, as we temporarily blocked access to the men’s loos as we entered and exited the room, likely not an issue, unless it was an exceptionally busy day.

💬 Final Thoughts:
A mostly very good accessible toilet that could be made excellent with a few simple fixes.
